Brief Site History
Power Lawn Tools website originally started as Lawn Mowers, a sub domain of homesurroundings.com. That was back in March of 2013. It featured strictly lawn mower product reviews, both walk-behinds and riding mowers. Then in January 2016, it became powerlawntools.com.
Power Lawn Tools was created to extend not only the product line, but also to increase it’s viability. By this I mean having more to offer throughout the year. Not only did I add more outdoor power tools for summer, but also added those used in winter, like snow blowers. This made it a more rounded all-year site.
What is Power Lawn Tools all about?
The main focus of the site is based on home lawn care with the tools best suited to make it easier for the homeowner.
I pick out lawn care products with the higher ratings and better customer reviews, to minimize the time to find the best lawn tool for the job. As a homeowner myself, I know what involved to mow the lawn, trim bushes, do edging, and keep my landscape in shape.
I also know what it is like to buy tools that don’t last or worse, don’t even work as advertised. That’s why it is important to me to pick out the tools that will do the job right. Tools that are designed to last. Because I do care, I’ve been there.

Other power tools include blowers and lawn vacs. Also edge trimmers, string trimmers and hedge trimmers. For clearing out brush or downing trees, are power pole saws, chainsaws, and brush hogs. Even offer log splitters for those who like cozy fires inside or outside.
And of course, offer winter snow removal solutions from electric snow shovels, to snow blowers and even blades for your lawn tractor.
Site Improvements for 2017
With the push for SSL certified sites by Google and changes with vendor’s API’s, Power Lawn Tools needed to be updated as well. To accomplish this, the site moved to another hosting service and was updated to secure SSL (https). Also page templates are being improved as site renovation is underway as well as site navigation.
