Activity Report for March 2016

Activity report for March 2016

This year has definitely NOT been my year so far. All business operations were put on hold in March when my beloved wife suddenly passed on without warning early in the month. We had been married for 34 years. My life has been literally turned upside down!

To say the least, I didn’t focus on my online business at all. Yet, surprisingly, I still made sales behind the scenes as I discovered toward the end of the month. I had 7 unexpected affiliate sales, and one reoccurring sale (thank God for that).

I did get to complete my taxes by the end of the month for all three jurisdictions: Federal, state, and municipal income tax. That was an added upfront expense to use the online tax service.

Also one of my domain names came due along with the security software for my laptop. Each cost is annually. This made up my business expenses for the month. The end result is another loss for the month of March.

Toward the end of the month, I did get a few more blog post (reviews) completed and published – which was a 350% increase over February!

Overall, web traffic increased for each of my sites across the board giving me a 74% increase in web visitors over the previous month.

I have been committing a major no-no by neglecting my email list since January! To say the least, I lost another 3 subscribers and didn’t gain any new ones. For the month of April, I really need to get back to helping them!

No progress was made on my other project including several information products that I had been working on. The bad thing about these big gaps between working on this project is that the information can change, causing me to having to review it all over again before I can proceed.

Without further ado, here is the activity report for March 2016 results for my online business operation:
